Albany-9624kms
Dearest Intrepid Reader,
Today, was a highlight of the Lap.
Why? Trees, I love trees.
Imagine, if you will a Sparkling red TourOz Lovliness trike going slow( hard to imagine I know) so the rider can take in the beauty of the Kari Forrest on both sides of the road.
Also a MOTH in a gruff voice saying that is enough photos! ( also hard to imagine)
Now after yesterday’s, debacle at the Lighthouse, we did not purchase the $21.00 ticket for the tree top walk.
We took the Ancient Empire option. It was an excellent option. Did I mention how much I love trees!
You will all be pleased to know I managed the steps. In full leathers and thermals. No layers removed at anytime.
Thank god his leathers did not get stuck to this tree, I am almost out of coconut oil!
Oh my god !
A fairy Door, make sure you knock gently !
We sadly left the Valley of the Giants, nonetheless the beautiful scenery continued as we made our way to Denmark via the Bow Bridge road.
We had a coffee and a cold pressed juice, in Ravens Cafe that had the most ingenious chandeliers.
We were meant to call into West Cape Howe, the most southern point on our journey. However the road eluded us, a rare occurrence. However we made up for this and celebrated the most Southern Point in style.
The celebration is real, for now we head to the EAST! Yes I did shout that !
Albany!
We are staying in an ensuite site at the most amazing BiG 4 Caravan Park I have ever seen. The coast line is to die for!
“ It’s helmet hair, Mum, I am not tired. Promise!”
OMG, it’s the worst. The camp kitchen is enclosed, has a fire and there is a Clint Eastwood Movie on the TV, I will never get him to bed.
The MOTH as a shadow!
There has been far to much
Cape Howe Shiraz and Clint Eastwood!
We will never find the way!
But we will try again tomorrow!
Goodnight
MOTH and LOL
